Facts and Fables: Crafting your Family Narrative- Genealogy Discussion
Event Details
March 18 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Your family’s story is a mix of facts, lore, and DNA. Those building their family tree encounter all three and many times they are faced with contradictions. How do you honor your family history even when faced with inaccuracies and embellishments? The Genealogy Library at the Kosciusko County Historical Society is hosting a discussion with Kelly Penney Howard, a well-known genetic genealogist to speak on that topic. Howard’s discussion titled “Facts and Fables: Crafting your Family Narrative” will address the challenges of reconciling truth and myth within family histories. Howard has presented at numerous national and state level conferences on family histories and preserving family heritage. The discussion will be held on March 18th at 10AM at the Kosciusko County Historical Society. The historical Society is located at 121 North Indiana Street in Warsaw. Please enter through the back door. The public is invited to attend.
